The council are planning to resurface a length of Acre Street/Lidgett Street from New Hey Road to Holly Bank Road and carry out drainage, some kerbing and pavement improvement works. The improvement works will start 25 July and should be completed by the end of September 2011. The majority of the kerbing and footway works will be carried out during the working week between the hours of 0930hrs – 1530hrs to minimise disruption to people’s journeys.
