Cllr Cahal Burke raising money for Yorkshire Cancer Research

On Sunday 26 May I took part in the Bupa Great Manchester Run raising money for Yorkshire Cancer Research. Over 40,000 took part in the event and I completed the 10k distance in 50.29.

Yorkshire Cancer Research is Yorkshire’s cancer charity. Every penny raised is spent in Yorkshire, helping local people beat cancer and supporting world-class research, diagnosis and treatment in the region. Yorkshire Cancer Research work throughout Yorkshire and benefit Yorkshire people, in addition to sharing their findings to improve the lives of people everywhere.
