Cllr Cahal Burke campaigning against the over-development of our area

Over 1,000 new houses have been built in Lindley over the last few years. There are plans for more housing developemts and industrial sites. (Lindley Moor, Grimescar Valley & every green field in the area!)

•Schools are full
•Roads are congested
•Doctors and Dentists full
•Green space is at a premium

We need a new school and we need to stop the over development of our area as the infrastructure can not cope with the strain of all the new developments.

Sign the Petition to show we have had enough.

The area cannot sustain further buildings, we need the fields for wildlife, farmers, dog walking, rambling, there is a registered path. There are bats in the area. When one person wanted to build a house on Burn Road, it was refused because the road could not sustain it!! Now they want to start building 190 houses with a view to building a further 400 more. When will it stop. Over built towns are now wanting to create natural woodlands etc for wildlife, meditative areas for people to walk in and relax in these days of worry and stress. Please learn from their mistakes before it is too late for this beautiful valuable valley.
